The TVS Apache RTR 180 is a street motorcycle that starts at Rs. 1,17,385 in India. It comes in only one colour and one version. The TVS Apache RTR 180 is powered by a 177.4cc BS6 engine that produces 16.56 horsepower and 15.5 Nm of torque. The TVS Apache RTR 180 features anti-lock brakes on both the front and rear disc brakes. The gasoline tank capacity on this Apache RTR 180 bike is 12 litres and it weights 141 kg.

The Apache RTR 180 has been modified by TVS to meet the latest emission regulations. The BS6 version of the sporty commuter is only available in one variant and costs Rs 1,01,450. (ex-showroom Delhi).

The current version of the motorcycle keeps the aesthetic of its predecessor, with a halogen headlamp with LED pilot lights, an LED taillight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and a muscular appearance. The Apache RTR 160 BS6 is available in Pearl White, Matte Blue, Gloss Black, and T Grey colours, which are the same as the BS4 model.

The weight of the 2020 model has increased due to the BS6 upgrade, and it now weighs 141kg (vs 139kg). The length (2,085mm), width (730mm), and height (1,105mm) are all the same as on the BS4 model. The wheelbase and ground clearance, on the other hand, are not the same as the previous model. The BS6 version has a 1,300mm wheelbase (as opposed to 1,326mm) and a 170mm ground clearance (as against 165mm).

The mechanical details, on the other hand, have undergone significant revisions. The fuel injection system has been added to the 177.4cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, which now delivers 16.5bhp peak power at 8,500rpm and 15.5Nm maximum torque at 7,000rpm. The Glide Through Technology (GTT) has been included to the BS6 edition of the motorcycle. The GTT system is designed to prevent engine stalling.

To handle the shock absorption tasks, telescopic forks at the front and gas-filled twin springs at the back are still included in the hardware requirements. A 270mm petal-type disc in the front and a 200mm petal-type rotor in the back provide stopping power. Single-channel ABS is included as a safety feature.
